Description: This new version of the classic children’s fairy tale has all the charm of the original story and all of the familiar characters: Peter Pan and dozens of other wonderfully creative characters provide plentiful opportunities to showcase students (boys and girls!) of all different skill levels.
Our theatre programs are 100% hands-on. Students will create the set, design the props and even sew their own costumes! We limit the number of students so that every child will get a speaking role and a chance to shine. Our instructors are professionals in their field and hold degrees in theatre. Our programs teach teamwork, confidence and a love of theatre!
Throughout this program we will delve into different methods of storytelling, from the verbal to the silent and everything in between. We will explore bits of physical comedy and different ways to improvise within a set of comedic parameters. We will discover what makes comedy tick and how we can contribute to and build our own comedic scenes. This will culminate in a hilarious student-driven retelling of a classic fairytale!
Building Self-Esteem Through Drama

IMPROV
Improv is a great way to gain confidence while having fun... There are no mistakes in improv!!! With guidance from our faculty students work on building ensemble, object work, and the essence of a good improvisational scene. Using games, exercises, and other play, students explore relationships, character motivation, and techniques to create compelling scenes and characters purely out of improv.
