Vocal / Piano / Guitar By Jeanne Ciampa
Private and Group Lessons - Vocal / Piano /Guitar
As an accomplished performer and songwriter, Berklee grad Jeanne Ciampa brings a breadth of training to her work including piano, guitar, voice and studio engineering. She is a gifted instructor who cares deeply about her students.
Jeanne relates to her students holistically and dedicates herself to their development. Her enthusiasm and dynamic approach is fantastic for children and she makes great efforts to tailor her approach to younger students, whether elementary, middle, high school. She taught at Minuteman Music Center in Lexington, MA for two and a half years before opening her own studio.
In addition to working with adults and children, Jeanne also has experience with disabled students, having taught at a school for the blind, and seniors; she taught music therapy for ten years at nursing homes.
The main goal at my teaching studio is to impart a working knowledge of the essential tools you need to be a musician: Ear Training, Solfeggio, Chord Analysis, chart writing all combine with either voice, piano or guitar lessons. I use an integrated approach with all ages.
Years of lessons, schooling, and professional appearances give this studio a unique performance edge rather than strict lessons or recitals. Interaction with the community is part of the Music Wizard mission. For instance, we often accept donations to the food pantry in lieu of ticket prices for performances, as well as perform Benefit Concerts to help individuals or groups in need of assistance.
My goal is to teach you how to be a real musician and performer.
Music Wizard students also have several chances to perform at charitable occasions and night club venues throughout the year. A favorite of ours is Club Passim in Harvard Square, Cambridge, to raise money and bring food products for Cambridge food pantries. Besides giving our artists a chance to be on a real stage in front of family & friends, our performers learn from getting real time feedback from their audience.
