Bollywood Dancing is one of the most versatile dancing styles around that brings together dance styles from India and around the world to create its own unique technique. Music is the soul of Bollywood dancing and ranges from Indian classical,modern to world fusion like Hip Hop, Latin, Jazz etc..As with any other physical activity, dancing is one of the fun ways to burn calories and learn something new at the same time. Bollywood dancing will do that for you. These classes are for kids, men and women who want to achieve the following goals:

Sandip Soparrkar is an Indian Latin and ballroom dancer, Bollywood choreographer, actor, columnist, Radio Jockey and a Ted X speaker, who holds a doctorate in World Mythology Folklore from the United States and also an Honorary Doctorate in Performing arts from The National American University. He has been honored with 3 National Excellence Awards and 1 National Achievement Award by the Government of India and he is also the recipient of the prestigious Dada Saheb Phalke Award and the Rabindranath Tagore Social Achievement Prize.

He founded "India Dance Week", which combines Indian and international dance. He has also become a philanthropist with this Worldwide initiative "Dance for a Cause" where he uses dance, drama and music as a medium to raise awareness of various social issues in the society. At the British House of Commons, World Book of Records / Indo-British Cultural forum honored Soparrkar with the title of "Ballroom Dance Jewel". He is the only dancer choreographer of India who has a postage stamp issued by the Bhutan Government with his picture and with the logo of his worldwide initiative 'Dance for a Cause'. and the first dancer choreographer to receive the Rabindranath Tagore Social Achievement Prize for is much appreciated 'Dance for a Cause' initiative.

He is the Chairperson of India Fine Art Council (IFAC) and extensively promotes artists from all fields . He has been bestowed with the title of ‘The World Peace Ambassador’ by The World Peacekeepers Movement. He is the first Indian to be certified by the Ballroom Dance Training School, Bonn, Germany and has been honored with the National Achievement Award and with three National Excellence Awards by the Government of India. He is also a recipient of the Prestigious Shakti Samman in a form of a Sword by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. He has also been bestowed with the highest honor in the films world 'Dadsaheb Phalke Award' by The Dadasaheb Phalke Film Foundation, the only award which is recognized by the Federation of Western India Cine Employees

The Government of United States of American along with Lions Club International honored Sandip with the 'Visionary Award' for developing a Ballroom dance program for the blind. He is the first Indian Dance choreographer who was invited to the United Nations Headquarters in New York city to conduct a dance session for the United Nations Staff through the United Nations Staff Recreation Council (UNSRC) and Society for Promotion of Indian Culture and Experience (SPICE). The renowned 'Dance Today' Magazine, USA, rates Sandip as one of the '100 most influential dancers in the world'. In the history of any Bollywood film magazine Soparrkar is the first dancer Choreographer to grace a cover of a Bollywood Magazine – Films Today

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles have written personal letters of appreciation to Sandip Soparrkar for promoting ballroom and Latin dance culture in India. He was the first Indian to be invited to judge the Asian Latin & Ballroom Dance Championship held at Colombo where 32 countries took part with 78 competitive dances. He is the first Indian who was invited to be on the jury of Sharm Shaikh International theatre festival for the youth, Egypt, along with other top theatre personalities from all over the world Soparrkar is a noted contributor to The Asian Age and Afternoon Voice newspapers.

His Radio Show in India on Radio Nasha, Radio One and Fever FM titled 'Aao Twist Karein with RJ Sandip Soparrkar' received the World Book of Records (WBR) London, UK certification as the world's first radio dance show. Apart from that he is also Nominated as the 'Goodwill Ambassador' for World Book of Records USA.

ANKITA DOLAWAT is a trained Latin /Ballroom Dancer as well as a Host on television. She has represented India in Latin Ballroom category at the El Latino Dance championship held at Sri Lanka in March 2017 and won Bronze for the Country under the Guidance of Mr.Sandip Soparrkar. She has been associated with Sandip Soparrkar’s ballroom studio as a Manager, Student, Teacher, Event coordinator and performer. She has Hosted an informative series as well as interviews on Channels like Tata sky Ayushmaan active, Airtel D2h, as well as Tata sky Seniors.

ABHISHEK BOHARA is an all style dancer with 7 years of teaching experience.

He is professionally trained in Big dance Center and specializes in Urban dance, Contemporary and ballroom.

Abhishek has been a part of Reality shows like Dance India Dance Doubles, India's Got Talent, Bharat Ki Shaan - Rum jhum to name a few. He has choreographed for Corporates like Saint gobain, Indian Oil corporate, Zuventus Healthcare India etc.

He has trained under many International faculties like Sandip Soparrkar, Matt Steffanina, Brian Puspos, Bam Martin, Philip Chabeeb etc. and judged many dance events and shows all over India.

Abhishek has been a part of Sandip Soparrkar’s dance troupe as a performer and an instructor for over 5 years now.

ABHIGYAN GOGOI Is a professionally trained dancer and performer who has great passion for dance. He has done his masters in Dance & is certified from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing ( Intermediate modern dance) from London ( ISTD). He has over 6 years of experience as a dancer & as a dance instructor. He is a part of Sandip Soparrkar’s dance classes and specialise in taking classes for kids and adults.

His expertise are in Salsa, contemporary, jazz, ballet, modern, Bollywood, bhangra swag, hiphop, bollyhop and many more.

He have also performed in various shows like IIFA & Filmfare along side many Bollywood Stars Amitabh Bachchan, Salman khan, Sara Ali Khan, Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal, Madhuri Dixit and Ranveer Singh.

In addition to the above has also been trained in Zumba Fitness.

Payment and Missed Class Policy:

Training requires consistency in order to achieve the most benefit. However, we understand that students may occasionally need to miss a class. Use the following guidelines to ensure that you get the most out of your classes at The Academy of Creative Arts. 

  1. Your fees are due on or before the first class in a month

  2. Payment may be made by cash, check or credit card

  3. If you pay for several months in advance and cannot complete all months, we will refund months not used when notice is received before the beginning of the month

  4. If you or your child plan to miss a class - 48 hour advance notice is required - so another student can be accommodated - if the student does not provide 48 hour notice, student can coordinate the make-up class with the instructor.

  5. Your monthly fee pays for your space in class for the month. It is your responsibility to make up classes if you or your child miss the class.

  6. One makeup class will be offered each month. During any month that you are enrolled, you may make up a class by attending any other appropriate session (please coordinate with the instructor for scheduling the make up class). Make up classes should be completed within 60 days of missing the class. Fees for missed classes are not refundable.

  7. If you are having trouble scheduling a make up class, please let us know and we will try to accommodate you

  8. Class timings and schedule are subject to change
