OUR INSTRUCTORS

MADHURA HULSURKAR

Madhura has been passionate about dance since the age of five. As a child, she not only choreographed her own solo performances but also created routines for group dances. She began formal Kathak training early on, successfully completing several levels, and after a long break, resumed her Kathak journey in 2020 at SISK Dance School under the guidance of Pandita Shambhavi Dandekar Tai. Over the years, she has explored and performed in multiple styles including Bollywood, Contemporary, Kathak, and Hip Hop, making dance an integral part of her life.

In addition to her love for dance, Madhura has a strong background in sports. She trained in badminton for several years and competed at the state level. She also enjoys working with children and has previously conducted dance classes for kids.

Professionally, Madhura is a Software Engineer with over seven years of experience in the industry.

VIRAL DAVE

Viral is a passionate dancer with extensive experience in various formats and genres. As an accomplished dancer, she had the privilege of participating in numerous competitions, notably winning the Gurjar Dance Mom competition in 2015 and achieving success in three consecutive years at the NEMA Drishya competition. She is also a certified BollyX instructor.

She has also performed in SETU and Hindi Manch plays, various cultural and annual shows, including Diwali and Holi celebrations. Additionally, she has organized and led few flash mobs in community Holi events.

As a member of esteemed dance groups, including DFD, Boston Bollywood, and EDA, she had the opportunity to share the stage with legendary Bollywood singers Shaan and Kailash Kher, as well as perform on Sonu Sood's show.

With teaching expertise to match her performance experience, she has instructed dance to children and adults alike. Her passion for dance, combined with technical skill and performance experience, make her a unique and captivating artist.

WHAT IS BOLLYWOOD DANCE? 

Bollywood Dancing is one of the most versatile dancing styles around that brings together dance styles from India and around the world to create its own unique technique. Music is the soul of Bollywood dancing and ranges from Indian classical, modern to world fusion like Hip Hop, Latin, Jazz etc..As with any other physical activity, dancing is one of the fun ways to burn calories and learn something new at the same time. Bollywood dancing will do that for you. These classes are for kids, men and women who want to achieve the following goals:

Payment and Missed Class Policy:

Training requires consistency in order to achieve the most benefit. Use the following guidelines to ensure that you get the most out of your classes at The Academy of Creative Arts. 

  1. Your fees are due on or before the first class for every month. Payments can be made by Venmo, Zelle, cash, check or credit card.

  2. Your monthly fee pays for your spot in class for the month. The instructor will share a video for practice with all active students so in case you miss a class the student can practice and make up by watching the video instructions.

  3. Bollywood is a monthly fee - we don’t charge extra if there are 5 weeks in a month.

  4. Fees for missed classes are not refundable.

  5. Class timings and schedule are subject to change.
